When not to use: Patients with Renal calculi, hypercalciuria, hypophosphatemia, hypercalcemia

It may intearct with antibiotics such as Ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin , norfloxacin, sparfloxacin,trovafloxacin, demeclocycline , minocycline and tetracycline. Some bisphosphonates include alendronate, etidronate, risedronate, tiludronate, and others.
