When a bacterial or fungal infection is present, Retrieve Cream is used to treat certain inflammatory, itchy, or allergic skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.
When this medication is first applied to the skin, it may cause stinging, burning, itching, irritation, dryness, or redness. As your body adjusts to the medication, these side effects should subside in a few days. Notify your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
When it should not be used: It is not recommended for patients who have a known hypersensitivity to the drug.

When this drug is applied to the skin, it is unknown whether it passes into breast milk. When similar medications are taken orally, they pass into breast milk. Before you start breastfeeding, talk to your doctor.
